Plugins

PaperChunk servers run Paper (a high-performance Spigot fork), which supports thousands of plugins.

Installing Plugins

From the Catalog

The plugin catalog shows popular, tested plugins:

  1. Go to your server → Plugins tab
  2. Browse or search the catalog
  3. Click Install on any compatible plugin

From Modrinth

You can search the entire Modrinth plugin repository:

  1. In the Plugins tab, use the Search Modrinth field
  2. Find the plugin you want
  3. Click Install — PaperChunk automatically picks the correct version for your MC version

Manual Upload

If the admin has enabled manual uploads, you can upload .jar files directly:

  1. In the Plugins tab, click Upload Plugin
  2. Select your .jar file
  3. Restart the server to activate it

Note: Only upload plugins from trusted sources. Malicious plugins can damage your server.

Managing Plugins

Enabling/Disabling

Installed plugins can be toggled on or off without removing them. Disabled plugins are moved out of the plugins folder and won't load on next restart.

Removing Plugins

Click Remove next to any installed plugin to delete it. The server needs a restart for changes to take full effect.

Compatibility

The plugin list shows compatibility with your current Minecraft version. If a plugin is marked incompatible, it means no version matching your MC version was found on Modrinth. You can toggle "Show incompatible plugins" to see all plugins regardless.
